2018 год

1 мая запущен музыкальный телеканал «VIVA Россия».

22 мая началось вещание в IPTV-сервисе «Торрент ТВ».

27 мая телеканал перешёл на вещание в Full HD.

11 июня началось вещание в IPTV-сервисе «Xsmart».

6 июля вещание временно прекращено в связи с обновлением и настройкой оборудования.

13 августа вещание возобновлено, анонсирован новый сезон.

31 августа началось вещание в IPTV-сервисе «Clime TV».

1 сентября возобновлено вещание в IPTV-сервисе «xSmartTV».

3 сентября началось вещание в IPTV-сервисе «BlueCrabs TV».

3 ноября началось вещание в социальной сети «Periscope».

2019 год

В апреле 2019 года о русской версии «VIVA» узнало руководство «Viacom» заявив, что «VIVA Россия» не является их проектом, и пообещала проверить, почему они используют бренд «VIVA» незаконно.

31 августа 2019 года телеканал прекратил вещание. Последним клипом был «Spice Girls» — «Viva Forever».

1 сентября 2019 года вместо «VIVA Россия» начал вещание интернет-канал «PULSE», посвящённый танцевальной музыке.

Поклонникам новость о закрытии канала не понравилась. Их также не устраивала политика «Viacom», которая закрыла все спутниковые каналы и принялась за любительские трансляции в интернете. Многие поклонники даже шутили: «Давайте создадим ещё 10 версий «VIVA», чтобы «Viacom» устал их закрывать».

2020 год

Возобновил вещание весной 2020 года другим владельцем. В эфире появилась некоторая доля клипов русскоязычных исполнителей.
